Job summary

Progeny Human Resource Solutions is seeking a Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) in Florida for full-time night shifts. The role requires setting up and operating acute care ventilators and delivering routine and complex respiratory therapies to patients of all ages.

Applicants must hold a Florida CRT license and have appropriate education (Associates degree preferred) with BLS; ACLS/PALS/NRP within 6 months.

Qualifications

• Completion of a Vocational/Technical program or AMA approved respiratory care program (Associates Degree); Bachelor Degree preferred.
• Current Florida State License (CRT) Certified Respiratory Therapist.
• American Heart Association BLS health care provider required.
• ACLS, PALS and NRP within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• You will be responsible for the application and operation of acute care ventilators used for continuous short and long-term mechanical ventilation.
• You must be self-directed in the absence of the full-time Team Leader.
• You will maintain all department and hospital records and enter accurate information into the hospital computer for the therapy as given.
• You will set up and administer all routine and complex respiratory therapy procedures to patients of all ages.
