Job summary

Food Management Search, Inc. is partnering with a community hospital in Ohio to hire a Respiratory Therapist for the night shift. The role covers ventilator management, arterial blood gases, EKGs, and on-call duties across age groups.

Requirements include CRT or RRT and Ohio license, BLS/ACLS/PALS/NRP, and 3+ years of cardiopulmonary experience. Competitive hourly pay with a sign-on bonus and shift differential.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an AMA-approved School of Respiratory Therapy.
• CRT or RRT registration; Ohio license.
• BLS; ACLS, PALS, NRP certifications required.
• 3+ years of cardiopulmonary experience preferred.
• Strong interpersonal, leadership, and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Administer respiratory therapy and monitor across all patient age groups.
• Operate ventilators and manage airway care.
• Perform emergency intubation and airway management.
• Conduct arterial blood gas draws and analysis; monitor complications.
• Perform EKGs and transmit reports to physicians.
• Document data in PCN and develop patient teaching plans.
• Participate in on-call rotation and weekend rotations.
• Attend staff meetings and educational programs.
