Job summary

West Jefferson Medical Center, part of LCMC Health, seeks a licensed Respiratory Therapist to join our night shift. You will manage ventilators, perform arterial punctures, and assist with airway management to support high-acuity patients.

You’ll deliver therapies, monitor equipment, educate patients and families, and collaborate with a skilled team while upholding infection control and safety standards. Sign-on bonus available; equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• Licensed Respiratory Therapist (LSBME) required.
• NBRC Certified Respiratory Therapist required.
• BLS/CPR and ACLS/PALS certifications required.

Responsibilities

• Manage ventilators and adjust settings per patient needs.
• Perform arterial punctures and assist airway management.
• Support high-acuity codes and airway procedures.
• Assist with bronchoscopies and intubations.
• Deliver therapies (oxygen, CPT, IPPB, incentive spirometry).
• Monitor equipment and ensure safe operation.
• Educate patients and families to empower them.
• Maintain infection control and safety standards.
