Job summary

ARMStaffing is seeking a dedicated Respiratory Therapist for Pulaski, VA on a 13-week contract with 36 scheduled hours per week. Shifts are 19:00–07:00, 3 shifts weekly, with start on 08/17/2026 and end on 11/16/2026.

Responsibilities include providing advanced respiratory care, monitoring patient conditions, collaborating with the care team, educating patients and families, and documenting care in Meditech. Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, and PALS.

Qualifications

• Valid BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification.
• PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive respiratory therapy treatments and interventions.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions and progress.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement care plans.
• Educate patients and families on respiratory health and therapies.
• Document patient care in the EMR system (Meditech).
