Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist program
• Registered as a Radiologic Technologist (R) by the ARRT
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider

Responsibilities

• Reviews patient history and initiates radiographic images based on physician order
• Prioritizes procedural patient education to ensure mutual understanding and cooperation
• Safely administers contrast media or imaging medications and monitors patient condition
• Implements techniques to yield image clarity and maintain equipment functionality
