Job summary

Mass General Brigham is seeking a Radiologic Technologist for night shift coverage. The role involves operating fluoroscopic, portable, and diagnostic radiographic equipment, ensuring safety and accuracy. ARRT certification must be obtained within 90 days of hire.

Qualifications

• Interpersonal skills for patient and staff
• Ability to read and write in English
• Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, medical terminology and radiation physics

Responsibilities

• Confirm correct patient and exam through confirmation and interview; document as needed.
• Explain exam to patient, considering individual needs and language.
• Adjust equipment settings for exams to safely image patients.
• Perform imaging using department protocols and radiologist's request.
• Ensure exams are labeled and transmitted to PACS correctly.
