Job summary

Proforma Health is seeking a Radiology Technologist for the night shift to perform multi-modality imaging, including radiography and CT. You will prepare and screen patients, acquire diagnostic images, and clearly explain procedures to patients of different ages to support accurate diagnoses and patient comfort.

ARRT registration in Radiography and CT is required, with current BCLS certification. A Bachelor's degree is preferred, along with 2+ years of experience.

Qualifications

• Registered with ARRT in Radiography and CT.
• Current BCLS certification.
• Preferred: Bachelor's degree and 2+ years of experience.
• Willingness to receive training for single modality techs to obtain ARRT (R) and CT certifications.
• Maintains compliance with continuing education requirements.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and screen patients for imaging procedures.
• Produce diagnostic images for medical diagnosis.
• Explain and perform radiologic procedures considering patient understanding and age.
• Assess patient pain during procedures and coordinate with physicians for intervention if needed.
• Ensure patient safety and minimize healthcare errors during all care activities.
