Job summary

Ellis Medicine is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to acquire quality radiographs and perform fluoroscopy guidance for diagnostic and surgical purposes. You will operate radiographic rooms and equipment, prepare patients, and document exams in coordination with PACS.

Qualifications include graduation from an approved program, ARRT certification, and NY State radiologic license, with a temporary permit if new graduate. Requires flexibility for shifts and OR procedures.

Qualifications

  • Graduate from an approved Radiologic Technology education program and ARRT certification.
  • New York State license in Radiologic Technology is required.
  • Temporary permit valid for 6 months or until ARRT boards are passed.

Responsibilities

  • Operate all radiographic rooms and equipment including fluoroscopy, portables and C-arms.
  • Prepare patients for diagnostic imaging exams and explain procedures.
  • Document requisitions with exam time, number of images, clinical info and staff initials.
  • Monitor PACS for problem studies and call reports when needed.
  • Maintain required paperwork and comply with hospital policies.
