Job summary

PeaceHealth Sacred Heart RiverBend Medical Center in Springfield, OR seeks a Full-Time Night Shift Radiologic Technologist (1.0 FTE) to perform standard diagnostic X-ray exams in a Level II trauma setting. The role supports portables, fluoroscopy, and surgical imaging as needed.

This position offers a consistent night schedule with strong pay and benefits; licensing, ARRT certification, and BLS are required or pursued. Hiring bonus and relocation assistance may be available.

Qualifications

• Accredited Radiologic Technology program completed or in progress.
• ARRT (Radiography) certification required within 6 months of hire.
• Oregon Radiology Technologist license required; OBMI temporary license accepted at hire.
• BLS certification required upon hire.
• PACS/RIS experience with radiology workflows.
• Ability to work independently and communicate clearly.
• 1+ year of experience preferred (not required).

Responsibilities

• Perform standard diagnostic X-ray exams.
• Support portables, fluoroscopy, and surgical imaging as assigned.
• Position patients and prepare exams.
• Operate radiographic equipment and ensure image quality.
• Apply radiation safety and infection control standards.
• Review prior images and patient history in PACS/RIS.
