Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiology Technologist Program.
• ARRT Radiography (R) certification.
• Basic Life Support (BLS).

Responsibilities

• Maintains accountability for patient safety throughout the imaging process.
• Produces diagnostic-quality images using approved protocols and standards.
• Apply professional judgment within approved protocols to optimise image quality.
• Reviews images prior to exam completion and initiates corrective action.
• Administers contrast in accordance with policy and monitors patients.
• Operates imaging equipment and maintains room readiness.
• Coordinates exam flow and prioritises time-sensitive studies.
• Maintains documentation in medical record and image archive systems.
