Job summary

Actus Nutrition is hiring a Quality Technician (Nights) for the Jerome West team. The role requires conducting and reporting lab tests, maintaining equipment, and ensuring GMP/HACCP compliance. You will support inventory, data entry, and technical communications with management.

We offer a competitive hourly wage starting at $24.24 with an additional $1.50 night shift differential, reflected in a night-friendly schedule from 5:00 PM to 5:00 AM. Prior food-grade lab experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Previous laboratory management experience, preferably in a food-grade manufacturing facility.
• Strong knowledge of laboratory testing procedures and computer software applications.
• Exceptional analytical and organizational skills.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct, interpret, and report laboratory, environmental, and product testing results accurately, including out-of-spec notifications as needed.
• Prepare samples for third-party testing, maintain lab equipment, troubleshoot issues, and coordinate with lab supply vendors.
• Follow and support GMPs, HACCP procedures, MSDS requirements, and other quality and safety documentation.
• Assist with inventory control, clerical data entry, filing, and computer-based recordkeeping.
• Respond to technical product questions and communicate results or concerns to plant and corporate management.
• Interpret written and verbal instructions, solve practical problems, and perform effectively in high-pressure situations.
