Job summary

Amcor is seeking a Quality Assurance Technician for the night shift in Maryland. You will perform daily QC analyses, tests and checks on production containers to ensure GMP and SQF compliance and the prevention of nonconforming products.

The 12-hour night shift (7:00 pm–7:00 am) rotates across a 15-day month schedule. Candidates need a High School Diploma or GED and at least three years in quality assurance, with proficiency in Excel, Word and Outlook.

Qualifications

• Minimum three years working in a quality related position.
• Ability to complete multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Computer skills—Excel, Word and Microsoft Outlook or similar email system.
• Ability to lift 40 lbs. occasionally.
• High School Diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily QC analyses, tests, and checks on production containers.
• Maintain GMP and SQF compliance.
• Respond to emergencies and ensure food safety compliance.
• Identify and record problems related to product, process and quality systems.
• Initiate actions to prevent non-conformities and suggest improvements.
