The position emphasizes CMM programming, inspection, and leadership, overseeing night shift activities, maintaining logs, and ensuring compliance with quality systems. Direct hire with manufacturing and automotive parts exposure.

Qualifications

• CMM programming is required for the role.
• Zeiss Calypso software is preferred.
• Ability to read blueprints and interpret GD&T.
• Familiarity with SPC, M&M, and gage R&R practices.
• Strong leadership and clear communication across shifts.
• Experience with automotive machined parts is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Write CMM programs for new program launches per engineering specs.
• Verify parts meet customer specifications on new programs.
• Perform CMM or layout inspections as needed.
• Maintain quality logs and ensure FPA on time.
• Organize the lab and maintain housekeeping.
• Assist with LPA, audits, and gage calibration.
• Set up gauging and support continuous improvement.
• Report shift activities to QA supervisor.
• Communicate quality data between shifts and departments.
• Oversee afternoon shift tasks and line-up with QA supervisor.
