Qualifications

• High School Diploma or G.E.D.; vocational/technical diploma preferred.
• Proficiency in reading and writing English with strong communication skills.
• Background in quality control or quality assurance.
• Experience with report writing and professional correspondence.
• Strong computer skills and ability to interpret job tickets.

Responsibilities

• Perform audits and visual inspections to ensure materials meet quality specs.
• Review tickets and verify materials, taglines, and sequence numbers for accuracy.
• Respond to machine quality lights for live divert checks and approve first pieces.
• Stop production and document quality defects such as blurry print or missing inserts.
• Tag non-conforming products and notify personnel for segregation and review.
• Complete Corrective Action Reports and assist with audit readiness.
• Verify and record hand-stuff and damage values on QA sheets.
• Track and report all diverted packages on Reconciliation Reports.
• Report quality issues or procedural gaps to Quality Assurance Manager.
• Perform additional duties as directed by QA Manager.
