This full-time role emphasizes teamwork, problem solving, and attention to detail, with duties including data entry, audits, and process improvements. Experience in textile QA is a plus, and bilingual abilities may be required by location.

Qualifications

• Must be able to make qualified decisions and accept responsibility for decisions made.
• Experience in quality assurance for production manufacturing is ideal. Textile environment preferred.
• Must be able to perform inspections in all areas of production.
• Have good vision and above average or superior color perception.
• Must have basic math skills.
• Must be able to use a tape measure accurately and follow detail instructions.
• Knowledge of sewing is a plus. Identify sewing defects and causes.
• Display the need for thoroughness and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
• Computer skills to include Outlook, Excel and Word are mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Ensure guidelines, procedures, specifications and reports in the Quality Manual are followed at the plant level and suggest improvements to Quality Dept.
• Maintain quality standards and communicate them to plant staff.
• Train associates as needed.
• Attend weekly Quality Meetings and track action items.
• Maintain access to Quality reference materials and documentation.
• Monitor BOM specs and revisions; report and resolve with Quality Manager/Supervisor.
• Maintain startup approval process and resolve nonconformances quickly.
• Monitor substitutions and ensure clear rework instructions to meet requirements.
• Report quality issues to Quality Manager/Supervisor and log details as needed.
• Enter data for daily inspections in SharePoint or other forms and ensure data accuracy.
• Be prepared for short-notice assignments related to quality or projects.
• Review inspection data with production to drive improvements.
• Promote Lean Manufacturing practices and safety compliance.
