Qualifications

• Associate degree required.
• Bachelor’s degree in a Human Service or related field preferred.
• Current BLS certification.
• Current RIH Crisis Management certification or current enrollment.
• Aptitude and willingness to learn role related skills.

Responsibilities

• Actively participates in the treatment planning process with the Professional Nurse.
• Communicates treatment plans with the multidisciplinary team.
• Implements the treatment plan per unit policies and maintains therapeutic limits.
• Reviews treatment plans and problem lists daily.
• Assists in evaluating care by providing input at team meetings.
• Documents significant patient/family interactions in the flowsheet.
