Job summary

Whole Foods Market in Bedford, NH is seeking team members to support overnight receiving operations. You will process deliveries, stock refrigerated items, maintain backstock, and help ensure a safe, organized receiving area.

You will collaborate with Team Leaders and store leadership, follow health and sanitation procedures, and contribute to a positive customer experience through courteous service. Availability for overnight shifts is required.

Qualifications

• Stand and walk for extended periods of time up to 4 hours without a break.
• Know and practice proper lifting techniques.
• Bend and lift loads not to exceed 50 pounds.
• Push/pull carts up to 100 pounds unassisted.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Ability to work nights, weekends and holidays as required.

Responsibilities

• Assume primary responsibility of processing all product deliveries.
• Process deliveries in a timely manner with full attention to detail and following receiving procedures.
• Ensure receiving supplies are filled and maintained.
• Maintain backstock area and cooler.
• Keep receiving area secure while on duty.
• Break down and organize designated loads.
• Ensure all refrigerated items are stocked or properly stored.
• Distribute received merchandise or notify team of arrival.
• Establish and maintain merchandise return/transfer area.
• Maintain receiving area neat, clean, organized and safe.
• Follow health and sanitation procedures and adhere to safe work practices.
• Operate all equipment in a safe manner.
• Report life safety and fire hazards to Team Leader for correction.
