Job summary

ALTOR is seeking a Process Technician for the 3rd shift (11:00 PM to 07:00 AM) in Wisconsin to set up and maintain production equipment and ensure safe, efficient operations. You will work with the Set-Up team to run molding processes that meet customer quality standards.

You will read technical drawings, support tooling changes, perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot issues, and collaborate with Operations and Engineering to improve cycle times and reduce scrap.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 3–6 months of manufacturing experience or training.
• Prior work experience with mold changing and EPS molding processes.
• Experience reading and interpreting technical drawings and schematics.
• Experience using ERP/MRP systems.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe work environment.
• Develop the molding process for each tool to run optimum cycle times while producing high-quality products that meet customer standards.
• Improve quality of products molded through improvements to the molding process.
• Reduce costs through reduction of scrap rates on each tool.
• Work with Operations and Engineering to make recommendations on tooling details and modifications to improve molding.
• Assist operators with packaging concerns and maintain equipment.
