Qualifications

• Mechanical and technical aptitude is required.
• Basic math skills to read a ruler and calculate label dimensions.
• Ability to operate production equipment per job orders.
• Ability to understand verbal and written work orders.

Responsibilities

• Carry out detailed instructions from job orders accurately.
• Identify errors and take prompt corrective action.
• Set up/adjust press for job runs to meet specifications.
• Monitor product quality during runs and correct as needed.
• Monitor equipment and refer maintenance when necessary.
• Initiate start up and run jobs per production schedule.
• Perform routine equipment maintenance and upkeep.
• Meet standards for output, waste, and spoilage.
• Adhere to safety guidelines and keep workspace organized.
• Complete related logs and paperwork.
