Sunrise Medical Laboratories, Inc. in Hicksville, NY is hiring a Pre-Analytical Specialist for the 3rd shift (10:00pm–6:30am). This full-time role offers $19.00 per hour and 40 hours per week at our facility located at 250 Miller Place, Hicksville, NY 11801.

You will accession and resolve issues, ensure proper identification and labeling of specimens, and assign bar codes to test requests to ensure accuracy. A High School Diploma or GED and data-entry proficiency are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Proficient data entry skills.

Responsibilities

• Be responsible for accessioning and problem resolution.
• Ensure specimens are accurately identified, sorted and labeled for testing.
• Assign and identify bar coded numbers to a test request to ensure matching specimens.
