Banner Health is seeking a Plant Mechanic in Gilbert, AZ for night shift (7:00 PM–5:30 AM, 4/10s, Mon–Thu with rotating weekends). The role focuses on operating and maintaining boilers, chillers, and water systems, performing preventive maintenance, and supporting safety and facility operations.

The position requires a high school diploma or GED with technical training and at least 1 year of Plant Mechanic experience in healthcare facilities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with vocational/technical training.
• 1 year of experience as a Plant Mechanic in facilities operations.
• Working knowledge of utility and infrastructure systems in healthcare.
• Ability to read maintenance and construction documents.
• Boiler Operator License if required by state.

Responsibilities

• Operate and repair plant equipment including boilers, chillers, and water systems.
• Perform preventive maintenance and document activities in logs.
• Respond to service and emergency calls, support safety and facility operations.
• Maintain area cleanliness, tools, and storage in order.
• Drive company vehicles to transport equipment and personnel as needed.
• Interact with staff, patients, visitors, contractors and vendors.
