• Collects blood cultures and other specimens per procedure.
• Labels, processes, and distributes specimens to appropriate sections.
• Accesses laboratory computer programs and tracks specimens.
• Prepare specimens for analysis and transport as needed.
• Provide patient education and ensure proper collection techniques.
