Job summary

TriStar Summit Medical Center is seeking a Certified Pharmacy Technician to join our team. You will support pharmacists in daily workflow, including procurement, preparation, delivery, and restocking of medications, while delivering excellent customer service to internal and external customers.

Qualifications

TN State Pharmacy Tech license is required.
PTCB Certification is required.
Hospital experience is required.

Responsibilities

Assist Pharmacists with daily department workflow and medications handling.
Consult with physicians and nursing staff regarding patient reactions, errors, and complaints.
Assist with quality improvement initiatives, inventory and ordering of pharmaceuticals.
Monitor, record, and communicate using computerized documentation systems.
Follow Standard Precautions and use personal protective equipment as required.
