Job summary

Memorial Health System - Ohio is seeking a Pharmacy Medication Reconciliation Technician in Marietta, OH to perform essential medication history collection and clerical duties for inpatient care. You will collaborate with pharmacists, physicians, and nursing staff to ensure accurate medication lists and timely processing of orders.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, Ohio certification, BLS, and prior healthcare exposure.

Qualifications

• High School Degree or GED required.
• National certification from the National Healthcare Association (NHA) or the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB), as required by the State of Ohio Board of Pharmacy.
• Registered with the State of Ohio Board of Pharmacy as a Registered Pharmacy Technician or Certified Pharmacy Technician required.
• BLS Certification required.
• Maintains compliance in RQI required.
• Previous healthcare experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Pharmacy Operations: Communicates with pharmacists, physicians, nursing staff, and other pharmacy technicians to ensure high quality patient care.
• Medication Reconciliation: obtain medication histories for newly admitted patients and coordinate care with community pharmacies and providers.
• Performs additional duties as required by the pharmacy director and supervisor.
