St. Luke's University Health Network is seeking a hospital pharmacist for a night shift (7 on/7 off) that includes weekends and holidays. The position requires a B.S. in Pharmacy or Pharm.D. and Pennsylvania licensure (or pending).

Qualifications

• Pharmacist degree required (B.S. in Pharmacy or Pharm.D.).
• Must be registered in Pennsylvania or have licensure pending.
• Hospital pharmacy experience preferred; training and competencies required.

Responsibilities

• Dispenses and supervises the filling of prescriptions.
• Ensures accurate profiling, preparation and dispensing of inpatient medication orders.
• Exercises independent judgment in emergencies and directs pharmacy technicians and interns.
• Prepares parenteral admixtures and sterile products when requested.
• Directs technicians, interns and volunteers to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
• Confers with staff regarding medications and answers questions.
• Maintains good rapport with coworkers and serves as a drug information resource.
• Participates in departmental meetings and committees.
• Completes and maintains IV/Admixtures Lab competencies.
