Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Patrol Driver Incident Response in Paramus, NJ. This full-time role involves patrolling retail locations, providing exceptional customer service, and responding to security-related incidents with professionalism.

The position requires a valid driver’s license and at least 1 year of security experience. CPR/First Aid is preferred, and a background check and drug screen will be conducted according to policy.

Qualifications

• 1 year of security-related experience.
• A valid driver’s license is required.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• Background investigation and drug screen required.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, tenants, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures and emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout retail areas and parking zones.
• Respond to incidents calmly and escalate concerns per site procedures.
• Observe and report unusual activity, hazards, and maintenance concerns to site contacts.
• Assist with access control, directions, and guest inquiries while maintaining a professional presence.
