Job summary

YESCO is seeking a Night Patroller for the Salem area on a part-time basis. You will drive through assigned routes to survey sign and lighting issues, document outages with photos, and report findings to supervision.

Responsibilities include locating outages on area maps, estimating issue size, and relaying information to service teams. The role requires safety awareness and clear written communication during field work.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, correspondence, and memos.
• Ability to write simple correspondence.
• Ability to present information to customers and coworkers clearly.
• Ability to drive an automobile.
• Ability to read maps and locate outages on area maps.
• Must have a state-issued driver’s license in good standing.

Responsibilities

• Drive along predetermined routes to survey repair and service needs of sign and lighting components.
• Document outages by taking pictures and noting details per procedures.
• Locate signs on an area map and determine outage location and address.
• Estimate size and characteristics of outages and report findings to supervisor.
• Relay information to other departments and managers.
• Plan efficient routes to cover the area and manage time.
• Maintain records and logbooks.
• Perform maintenance on YESCO vehicles if provided.
