Job summary

YESCO is seeking a night patroller to monitor sign and lighting outages in the Salem area. You will drive a company vehicle along predefined routes, document issues with photos and notes, and report findings to the supervisor.

The role is part-time and field-based, requiring a driver's license, basic reading/writing skills, and the ability to communicate observations clearly. You will support dispatch and maintenance teams to ensure quick repairs and accurate records.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, memos.
• Ability to write simple correspondence.
• Must have a state-issued driver's license in good standing.
• Ability to drive an automobile and survey routes.

Responsibilities

• Drive an automobile around a predetermined route to survey repair needs.
• Document outages by taking pictures and noting details.
• Locate signs on a map and determine outage location and address.
• Report findings to supervisor and relay information to other departments.
• Maintain records and logs; perform basic vehicle maintenance as needed.
