Job summary

Providence Little Company of Mary Medical Center San Pedro in San Pedro, CA is seeking a Patient Sitter for 12-hour night shifts on a per diem basis. Under RN supervision, you will closely observe patients, assist with activities of daily living, and help maintain a safe, clean environment while supporting the nursing team and care plans.

Minimum qualification includes National Provider BLS. Preferred training includes Nurses Aid or Health Care Assistant coursework, with about 1 year of health

Qualifications

• National Provider BLS - American Heart Association is required at hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide close observation of patients under RN supervision.
• Assist in maintaining a safe, clean environment and support nursing team.
• Assist patients with activities of daily living as needed.
• Support care plans and the therapeutic milieu.
