Medical City McKinney is hiring a Patient Care Technician to join our nursing team on the night shift. You will assist RNs with daily patient care, vital signs, mobility and personal tasks, contributing to a safe and compassionate environment for patients.

Qualifications

• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• CNA or PCT certification preferred
• 1+ years in a hospital setting preferred

Responsibilities

• Assisting with patient preparation, mobility, transfers, and comfort to support care and recovery
• Providing non-medicated care such as dressing changes and skin protection
• Keeping patient areas clean, organized, and stocked to maintain safety and efficiency
• Managing supplies, equipment, and logs to support infection control and team readiness
• Communicating kindly with patients, families, and the care team to support safety and quality

Education

CNA or PCT certification

Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification
