Job summary

HCA Florida Blake Hospital in Bradenton, FL is seeking a Patient Care Technician (PCT) Nights to join our caring nursing team. You will assist Registered Nurses with hands-on patient care, vital signs, mobility and personal care, contributing to a safe, welcoming environment for patients.

You will work on the night shift, supporting routines and care plans, emphasizing attention, empathy and teamwork to restore comfort and dignity for every patient you serve.

Qualifications

• Basic Cardiac Life Support certification is required within 15 days of start date.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with patient preparation, mobility, transfers and comfort to support smooth care and recovery.
• Providing non-medicated care such as dressing changes and skin protection.
• Maintaining clean, organized and stocked patient areas and common spaces to support safety and efficiency.
• Managing supplies, equipment and logs to support infection control and team readiness.
• Communicating kindly with patients, families and the care team to support safety and quality.
