Job summary

The Valley Hospital-Paramus is seeking a paramedic to render advanced life support in the pre-hospital setting. You will perform professional clinical duties, work with a multidisciplinary team, and respond to emergencies in the Paramus region.

Qualified candidates have an associates degree or 5 years of relevant experience, NJ state certification, and required BCLS/ACLS/PALS with ICS certifications. One year of field experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Associates degree required or 5 years relevant experience; Bachelors preferred.
• National Registry Paramedic or NJ State Certified MICP required.
• BCLS, ACLS and PALS certifications required.
• ICS-100, 200, 700, 800 certifications required.
• Minimum one year experience in pre-hospital or emergency transportation.

Responsibilities

• Performs professional and technical duties to render basic and advanced life support care in the pre-hospital emergency care setting.
