UF Health in Jacksonville, FL is seeking a paramedic to work full-time night shifts (7pm–7am). The role involves providing patient care under physician orders and reporting findings to the RN and ED physician, while adhering to hospital policies and standards.

The candidate must hold a Florida paramedic license, BLS, ACLS/PALS/NRP within defined timelines, and have less than one year of paramedic experience (with a preference for 1–2 years in a hospital ED or triage setting).

Competenze

• GED or high school diploma required.
• Preferred: an Associate degree in Allied Health Science, EMS, or related field.
• Current State of Florida Paramedic License required.
• BLS for Healthcare Providers (American Heart Association) required.
• ACLS within 6 months of hire.
• PALS within 6 months of hire.
• NRP within 6 months of hire.
• Less than one year as paramedic required.
• Preferred: 1–2 years paramedic experience in a hospital setting, ED triage experience or EMS dispatch experience.
