Job summary

Fresh Baguette is seeking a Night Packing Shift Leader to run the night packaging operation at the production center in Rockville, MD. You will lead a team of 6–15, delegating tasks to match staff skills and drive efficiency.

Responsibilities include following food safety standards, training team members, packing items per orders, and coordinating with the Logistics Manager. Competitive hourly pay, bonuses, and robust benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Fluency in English.
• Driver’s License may be required.

• Minimum of 3 years of supervisory experience with duties to manage labor, organize a complex operation, and assign tasks.

We are looking for a Night Packing Shift Leader to lead the night packing for Fresh Baguette’s packaging operation from the production center in Rockville, MD. As a Night Packing Shift Leader, you will lead the night packaging team of 6-15 people. You will use your expertise in delegating tasks based on the staffs' skills in order to manage labor efficiently and hit target goals.
We are looking for people who are eager to learn and who can follow a set schedule, are dependable, have reliable transportation and have the ability to work on their own in a fast-paced environment. We pack and bag and label thousands of products each night for delivery to various grocery stores and coffee shops throughout the DMV.

You must communicate effectively in a multi-cultural environment to succeed. The environment is very diverse, including native French speakers. This does not mean you need to speak French, but you will sometimes require help from someone in the room to translate or other forms of communication when there is a language barrier.

This position reports to the Assistant Packaging Manager. The Night Packing Supervisor will have direct supervision of 3-6 people.

As a Night Packing Shift Leader, you will have responsibilities to:

• Follow Fresh Baguette’s packaging process, rules and food safety standards
• Develop and train your new and existing team members to be versatile, accurate, efficient and valuable to the team.
• Pack a wide variety of bakery items in different boxes and bags in accordance with customers’ orders
• Assist the Logistics Manager and other workmates when needed
• Complete logs and reports
• Compensation: 20.00$ / hour to 25.00$ / hour
• Monthly bonuses based on labor targets and operational excellence targets

Hours

This is position with a fixed schedule with night and overnight hours. Please do not apply if you do not feel comfortable with this schedule:

• Fixed schedule from 6:00 PM-1:00 AM
• Must work Friday, Saturday and Sunday
• Must work on Major U.S. Holidays (our heaviest delivery days are Fridays and Saturdays)
