Lactalis American Group, part of the Lactalis family, is hiring a Night Packaging Supervisor based in Nampa, ID. The Packaging Supervisor oversees employees in the packaging department, coordinates work, enforces policies, and recommends improvements to manufacturing methods.

This role requires GMP knowledge, scheduling ability, and strong leadership to ensure safety and quality while achieving production goals.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Associates degree or higher preferred.
• 2+ years Supervisory or Lead experience required.
• Experience in Food industry preferred.
• OSHA, Food Safety, FDA and USDA knowledge.
• ISO and certifications within the food industry (FSSC, ISO 9001).
• Computers and Systems (Microsoft Word, manufacturing operating systems).

Responsabilités

• Assist the department manager to enhance technical and financial performance of the department.
• Direct adjustments of the packaging processes to meet standards, specifications and customer requirements.
• Maintain GMP and regulatory requirements.
• Prepare reports on production volume, yields, quality, productivity and efficiency.
• Coordinate activities with other supervisors.
• Schedule staff and estimate worker hour requirements for daily assignments.
• Review and approve time records; explain variances in hours worked and productivity.
• Ensure adherence to GMP, GSP, FSSC, QC policies and proper equipment maintenance.
• Provide data for budget creation or implementation.
• Assist in establishing and communicating company policies and goals.
• Support safety and resolve employee issues.
• Travel and/or extended or off-work hours may be required.
