Calbee America, Inc. in Boardman, OR is seeking a Packaging Machine Operator to oversee packaging room operations, ensure schedules are met, and maintain product quality. You will operate, troubleshoot, and perform routine maintenance on packaging machinery, and support food safety programs.

Qualifications

• Operates packaging machinery and performs routine maintenance.
• Supports food safety programs and HACCP/SQF guidelines.
• Maintains accurate production records and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Operate, troubleshoot, and perform routine maintenance on packaging machines, scales, tape machines, and date code machines.
• Ensure correct film is loaded per production schedule and maintain machine settings.
• Monitor packaging materials and follow FIFO procedures to ensure product quality.
• Identify and resolve issues affecting production flow and coordinate with cross-functional teams.
• Train and mentor new packers and operators as needed.
