Job summary

Altium Packaging is seeking a Production Packaging Lead Associate for the 12hr-C Shift (7:00 pm – 7:30 am) in York, PA. The role demands ownership of packaging processes, reliability on equipment operation, and collaboration with quality and safety teams.

You will mentor new employees, lead line packaging operations, and support changeovers while upholding GMP standards. This position requires overtime flexibility and a focus on safety and productivity.

Qualifications

• Three plus years’ equivalent experience to include training/facilitating.
• Advanced mathematical skills are required.
• Advanced computer experience.

Responsibilities

• Relieve the bagger and palletizer operator.
• Operate and understand robot and complete changeovers.
• Able to help with quality when there are needs from the quality department.
• Stand in for quality during the DMR if the quality lead is not available.
• Co-Ownership in Plant Safety, Quality and Morale results by participating in Safety Committees.
• Designated as the Floater or lead packer on their shift; mentor new employees on safety and temp utility packers.
• Break reliever to assist and coordinate lunch breaks for employees on all lines.
• Other duties as assigned by management.
• Duties may differentiate by plant based on equipment and plant design.
• Reasonable mandatory overtime may be required due to business needs.
