NIGHT OPERATIONS ASSISTANT STORE MANAGER IN TRAINING

**Position Purpose**
Night Operations Assistant Store Manager in Training (NOASM-IT) will gain hands-on experience in key responsibilities of a Night Operations Assistant Store Manager at The Home Depot. The program includes mentorship, leadership development, and practical training. NOASM-ITs will learn to oversee overnight freight operations, collaborate with managers and teams, develop strategies to boost sales, and uphold company policies. The training period lasts up to 6 weeks, during which you will learn to execute key responsibilities.

**Key Responsibilities**

• Customer Experience (10%): Supervise associates, lead customer service initiatives, and resolve customer concerns effectively.
• Operations Management (15%): Perform opening/closing duties, adhere to SOPs, ensure safety compliance, and manage inventory accuracy.
• Safety (15%): Follow all safety and hazmat procedures.
• Sales and Productivity (10%): Support merchandise placement, inventory management, and equipment operation.
• Training & Preparation (50%): Participate in structured training covering store management, staffing, customer service, and performance management. Complete all modules and assessments.

**Reporting & Travel**

• Reports to Store Manager
• No direct reports
• Overnight travel less than 5%

**Physical & Working Conditions**

• Requires walking, standing, lifting, and other physical activities; conditions are generally indoor with occasional discomfort.

**Minimum Qualifications**

• Must be 18 or older
• Legally permitted to work in the US
