Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, interpersonal and customer service skills.
• 1–2 years in a hospital setting preferred.
• Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Transports patients, supplies, laboratory specimens, blood, and other items as directed.
• Performs cleaning duties and maintains unit equipment and waste disposal.
• Maintains patient safety and responds to patient, family and visitor needs.
• Maintains inventory and stocks supplies, instruments and linens as needed.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
