Job summary

Diamondback E&P LLC is seeking a field Pumping Technician to monitor well production, perform lease maintenance, and service equipment in a safety-focused environment. The role requires readiness for holidays and travel to field sites, with strong attention to vehicle upkeep and compliance.

Ideal candidates have oilfield experience, a valid driver's license, and a clean driving record. Military experience is acceptable in lieu of oilfield experience.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 1 year of oilfield experience.
• Valid driver's license and insurability to drive company vehicle.
• Clean driving record with no serious violations in past 3 years.
• Military experience with rank E4+ acceptable in lieu of oilfield experience.

Responsibilities

• Gauge production on assigned wells and report readings to field office.
• Perform lease maintenance and minor repairs; trim weeds; keep area clean.
• Grease pumping units and service lease equipment; note issues and actions.
• Witness meter calibrations; monitor rates/pressures; adjust as needed.
• Test safety systems daily to maximize daily production.
• Ensure safe operation of wells and leases under supervision.
• Provide maintenance for company vehicle.
• Work holidays, weekends, and nonscheduled call-outs.
• Frequent travel to field locations and training sites.
