Job summary

Diamondback Energy is seeking an Oilfield Pumper to perform production monitoring, well testing, and maintenance of field equipment and facilities. You will handle data entry for production and operations databases and follow company safety and environmental policies.

The role requires at least 1 year in oilfield work, a valid driver's license, and willingness to travel to field locations. Military experience with relevant skills is acceptable in lieu of oilfield experience.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 1 year of oilfield experience.
• Valid driver’s license and insurability to drive a company vehicle.
• Military experience with rank E4+ acceptable in lieu of oilfield experience.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to all safety and environmental policies and procedures.
• Gauge production on assigned wells and report gauge readings, downtime, and other pertinent well information to the field office.
• Perform lease maintenance and minor repairs; trim weeds and maintain a clean working environment.
• Grease pumping units, service lease equipment, note problems and propose actions to reduce costs and increase production.
• Witness meter calibrations; monitor rates and pressures on injection and disposal wells; adjust as needed; monitor chemical use; test safety systems daily.
• Ensure secure and environmentally safe operation of all wells and leases under responsibility.
• Provide maintenance and care for company assigned vehicle.
• Willing to work holidays, weekends, and nonscheduled call-outs.
• Frequent travel to field locations and training sites
