Saint Luke's North Hospital-Barry Road is seeking a Full-Time OB Technologist for night shifts. The role supports delivery of care during surgical procedures in the Labor and Delivery unit and works under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.

The OB Tech provides patient-centered care, adapts to patient needs, and collaborates with the health care team to ensure high-quality outcomes on multiskilled duties.

Qualifications

• Less than 1 year applicable experience.
• Basic Life Support certification from American Heart Association or Red Cross.
• Certified Surgical Tech preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assist in delivery of care for patients undergoing surgical intervention in Labor and Delivery.
• Primary function is to assist with surgical procedures.
• Provide patient care under the supervision of the Registered Nurse.
• Individualize and modify care according to patient needs.
• Collaborate with health care team to enhance patient care.
• Perform clinical and clerical tasks as an integral member of the care team.
