Job summary

Sunrise Senior Living Mgmt Inc in Silver Spring, MD is seeking a Night Supervisor (RN/LPN) to serve as the overnight clinical anchor, overseeing care teams and ensuring safe, compliant medication administration.

You will transcribe orders, update plans, supervise staff, document rigorously, and liaise with physicians, pharmacies and families while maintaining regulatory standards and high quality resident care.

Qualifications

• Active RN or LPN license in good standing.
• Graduate of approved nursing program.
• 1+ year experience in senior care or clinical setting.
• Strong assessment, delegation, and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Monitor resident health and respond to condition changes
• Evaluate and document falls, incidents, and emergencies
• Supervise caregivers and medication staff
• Manage attendance, staffing gaps, and shift assignments
• Oversee medication administration and narcotic counts
• Transcribe physician orders and update Service Plans
• Ensure documentation meets regulatory standards
• Serve as liaison with physicians, pharmacy, and families
