Job summary

The Lodge at Rocky Mount is seeking a Staff Nurse to join our nursing team. This role requires an unrestricted RN or LPN license and weekend shifts on Saturdays and Sundays (24 hours, paid as 30 hours).

Under the supervision of the Director of Nursing, the RN and/or LPN will plan, coordinate, provide and manage nursing care and health education for residents, emphasizing compassionate, patient-centered care and teamwork with CNAs.

Qualifications

• Unrestricted RN or LPN license.
• Work every Saturday and Sunday; 24-hour shift, paid as 30 hours.
• Provide and manage nursing care and health education.
• Coordinate care with CNAs and other staff.
• Perform nursing assessments and document orders.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the care/services provided by CNAs and other staff.
• Coordinate nursing care of residents on the unit.
• Provide safe and accurate medication-related interventions.
• Transcribe and implement physician orders.
• Perform nursing assessments and notify physician of changes.
