Job summary

NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital in White Plains is seeking a Staff Nurse for the Crisis Stabilization/Affective Disorders Unit (6N) to provide safe, patient-centered care during nights. You will work with a multidisciplinary team to assess needs and promote recovery in a high-quality environment at the Westchester Behavioral Health Center.

Required are a Bachelor’s, NY RN license, BCLS, and nurse residency if a new graduate.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing required.
• Current New York State RN license required.
• BCLS certification from accredited AHA organization required.
• Complete Nurse Residency Program if new Graduate.
• Knowledge of nursing process across social, behavioral, biological and physical health sciences.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, patient-centered care to individuals in behavioral health crises.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to assess patient needs and promote recovery.
• Support patients and families while ensuring safety and quality standards.
