Job summary
NewYork-Presbyterian is seeking a Nurse Administrator - RN for the Float Pool to lead night-shift patient care across multiple units in NYC. This full-time role emphasizes clinical leadership, collaboration with nursing and unit leaders, and maintaining high standards of safety and patient experience.
The ideal candidate holds a Master\'s in Nursing, NY RN license, ACLS/BCLS/PALS, and at least three years of acute care experience.
Qualifications
- At least three years of acute care RN experience.
- Master's Degree in Nursing or related field.
- Current New York State RN license with ACLS, BCLS and PALS certification through AHA.
Responsibilities
- Manage patient care delivery across all hospital units during night shifts, and weekends/holidays when needed.
- Serve as clinical resource and administrator in absence of unit/hospital leaders.
- Collaborate with leadership to address care-related, patient experience, quality, engagement and operational efficiency issues.
