Job summary

Adelphi Staffing seeks a Physician Assistant to provide in-house neurosurgery coverage for night shifts in New Port Richey, FL (34652). The role supports adult neurosurgical patients in an inpatient setting, Mon–Thu, 9:03pm–7:30am, with in-house call and collaboration with attending surgeons.

You will work with a team including 1 RN, 1 MA, 4 APPs, and 3 office staff; Cerner EMR; privileges required; travel, lodging, and malpractice insurance covered by the agency; ASAP – ongoing coverage.

Qualifications

• Provide in-house neurosurgery coverage for night shifts.
• Manage adult neurosurgery patients, including acute care and consultations.
• Collaborate with attending neurosurgeons and the APP team.
• Order diagnostic tests and implement treatment plans.
• Participate in multidisciplinary rounds and ensure continuity of care.

Responsibilities
