Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Graduated from an approved ENDT program preferred.
• Completion of department approved training program required.
• Knowledge of neuroanatomy, physiology and EEG/EP instrumentation preferred.
• BLS certification within six weeks of employment.

Responsibilities

• May perform intraoperative monitoring, evoked potentials, nerve conduction, and/or EEG testing for all patient populations.
• Understand testing equipment, its structure, indications for use, physiological effect on the patient, and basic maintenance.
• Possess working knowledge of the diseases and pathological conditions encountered.
