American Traveler is seeking a Med/Surg-Neuro RN for a night shift assignment in Boise, Idaho. The unit is 34 beds with 1:3-4 nurse:patient ratio and Neuroscience support for neuro surgery patients. Requires compact or ID RN license, BSN, BLS, NIHSS, and 2 years Med/Surg or Tele experience.

Assignment runs 13 weeks with weekends/holidays as needed. No on-call; travel compensation includes lodging and meals. EPIC EMR experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Active RN license (Compact or ID) required at time of consideration.
• BSN required.
• Current BLS and NIHSS certifications required.
• Minimum 2 years Med/Surg or Tele nursing experience required.
• Driver's license required for consideration.
• Two professional references: one supervisor from within last 12 months and one peer or supervisor from within last 3 years.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to neuro medical and surgical patients including stroke, spine, and cranial cases.
• Nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:3-4 with unit support.
• Support neuroscience patients with 24/7 coverage and EPIC EMR utilization.
