Job summary

Cross Country Nurses is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg / Telemetry for a travel nursing job in Boise, Idaho. This position involves providing care to patients in a fast-paced acute care setting, with the ability to float across MedSurg and Telemetry units, and potentially ED.

The role requires BLS and ACLS, at least 2 years in the specialty, travel experience, and comfort with cardiology drips and telemetry monitoring. Licensing submission is expected where applicable.

Qualifications

• BLS and ACLS certifications required; minimum 2 years in Med Surg/Telemetry.
• Travel nursing experience and proficiency with Cardizem, Amiodarone, Nitro.
• Must be able to read and interpret tele monitor strips; licensed or awaiting license submission.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care across Med Surg, Telemetry, ED, and other units with float as needed.
• Titrate drips and interpret tele monitor strips; respond per unit protocols.
• Submit license to practice; orientation includes 3 inpatient training shifts.
• Ensure patient safety and high-quality care in a fast-paced setting.
